Starting this month, I'm going to participate in a "conversation club" with a small group of young adults in San Miguel! For some background, Giovanni, one of the pastors from my church in La Libertad, moved to San Miguel with his family to plant a GCLA church back in November 2019. English is a wonderful outreach tool, and we are excited for this opportunity to build relationships with some jóvenes (young people) in the community via Zoom! Please be praying that the God will be glorified in this time, and that His light will shine through us to this group!

One Year
Hola amigos!
I can't believe it's August already!! This month marks my one year anniversary of support raising. Although this past year hasn't been anything like I had imagined, the Lord has grown me and taught me so much. I'm so thankful for the friendship that He's cultivated between us and for the way you have so eagerly joined this ministry through your prayers and monthly gifts. I am deeply grateful for your commitment to sending me, even through all the uncertainty these past months have brought.
COVID-19 & Travel Plans
Unfortunately, the increase in Coronavirus cases in El Salvador has changed the reopening dates. They continue to be in Phase 1 of a 5-phase plan. International travel (phase 4) has been pushed back to September 19. If you're curious about their plan or would like to keep up with it, you can do that here (with a little bit of translating).
Support Raising
I'm at 75.5% in current monthly giving and 79% in pledges. I need to be at 100% in current giving in order to go.
Pray with Me
- Please pray that I would be sensitive and responsive to the Holy Spirit's leading in regards to ministry opportunities here at home
- Safety and reopening in El Salvador- please pray that the Lord would give me peace about His timing.

Although I'm constrained by physical borders, God is not. He's still actively working in the hearts of people all over the world and He continues to prepare my heart to join the work He's doing in La Libertad in His perfect timing. Thank you for your support!
